UFO Music CD - BBC The Archive Series

The “band” UFO was a popular during the seventies, this set was taken from the BBC collection and features the band when it was lead by Schenker. As a music fan I have always enjoyed these collections from the BBC, I have several cd’s that feature music that was recorded at the bbc.

What is cool about these BBC collections is that they are live, but in studio. The result is a live feel with a quality sound recording. If your into the classic rock of the seventies check out this live UFO cd.

Check out a more accurate review look under ( UFO BBC Radio Live in Concert) where I mentioned this great and rare CD,Chapman only shares the guitar with Schenker on four songs,too bad this CD is not available for now but if you are a UFO (schenker era) fan this is a must to have these songs are diferent versions than the ones on the albums,or look under my reviews!

If you want to hear some fantastic Michael Schenker solos GET this one! The rest of the band sounds great too, vocalist Phil Mogg might never have sounded better. Michael’s playing only sounded more spectacular on Strangers in the Night. It’s mostly great fun to hear the different solos that Michael adds to the songs. That’s something which so many Rock/Metal guitar players just don’t do…EXPLORE the songs they wrote with new, improvised leads each performance. It shows how the player is feeling at the time, and allows the song to grow naturally. nyways, this cd is a practically perfect ecxample of a great Rock guitar player at his peak. Reccomended highly.
